The Director-General of the Health and Population Office in Hodeidah, Dr. Ali Al-Ahdal, and with him, the Director-General of the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled in the governorate, Abdo Ali Mohim, discussed with the Director of Handicap Organization in the West Coast Kamran Khan, today, Monday, the organization's interventions in supporting the disabled and rehabilitating the physiotherapy center in Al-Khokha district, south of the governorate.
In the meeting held in the Health Office, Al-Ahdal praised the role of the organization, stressing the importance of its interventions and its positive repercussions on the most important segment of society, the "disabled".
Mohim presented a detailed report on the disabled in the governorate, their suffering and their most prominent needs, calling on the official authorities and concerned organizations to quickly carry out their duties, and open a rehabilitation center because the area has a densely populated area, and the disabled represent 12% of the population.
